The Landing (English for the landing ) is a large and flat snow field in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located in the Upper Skelton Glacier between the Upper and Lower Staircase glacier sections .
The firn field was mapped and descriptively named after its location in 1957 by the New Zealand crew of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958).
