Slaves are a British punk - Duo from Kent .

Band history

Isaac Holman and Laurie Vincent grew up in Kent, Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone respectively , and only knew each other casually when they were young. It wasn't until Vincent Holman's band Bareface joined that the musical connection that led to the founding of Slaves was established. While doing full-time jobs, they used every opportunity in their spare time to perform. They made their first releases with an independent label before being signed to Virgin EMI in 2014 . With several singles they made a name for themselves this year and at the turn of the year they were added to the expanded list of suggestions for the Sound of 2015 .

Their breakthrough was predicted for the following year and that came with their debut album Are You Satisfied? which was released in June 2015. They immediately reached a top 10 position in the UK charts and the album stayed in the top 100 with interruptions until the end of the year.
