The Sliven Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Сливен wrach Sliwen ) is a 530 m high mountain on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises on the eastern branch of the Melnik Ridge 4.1 km east-northeast of Mount Bowles and 1.6 km north-northwest of Atanasoff Nunatak . The Kaliakra Glacier is to the north and the Huron Glacier is southeast of it.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2002 after the city of Sliven in Bulgaria .
