Slobodan Tišma

Slobodan Tišma ( Cyrillic : Слободан Тишма; born May 14, 1946 in Stara Pazova ) is a writer and rock musician in Serbia .

Life

Slobodan Tišma founded various rock bands in his hometown Novi Sad in the early 1960s . He then retired and published poetry, which was under the strong influence of Arthur Rimbaud . He also used the pen name Arthur.

With the emergence of punk and new wave , he founded the band La Strada, which subsequently became Luna.

Today Tišma works mainly as a writer. In 2009 he published the novel Quattro stagioni , for which he received the important Serbian literary prize Biljana Jovanović in 2010.

In 2011 he received the NIN literature award for the best novel for the novel Das Bernardi-Zimmer .
