Stara Pazova ( Serbian - Cyrillic Стара Пазова ; Slovak: Stará Pazova ; German: Alt-Pasua , Alt-Pazua or Pazua ; Hungarian Ópazova ) is a city in Serbia . It has about 18,500 inhabitants and is the administrative seat of the Opština Stara Pazova .

During the Ottoman rule, mainly Serbs settled in Pazova. Slovaks and Germans also settled here in the 18th century. The German community lived mainly in the district of Nova Pazova . Until the 20th century, the Slovaks were the largest ethnic group in Pazova.

The Sportski centar FSS (Serbian-Cyrillic Спортски центар ФСС; Serbian for "Sports Center FSS"), short SC FSS (СЦ ФСС), also known as Kuća fudbala ("House of Football"), is the sports center of Fudbalski ( savez FSS Srbije ), the Serbian Football Association, is based in Stara Pazova.
