Sme rodina ( Slovak for We are a family , SR for short , until 2019 Sme rodina - Boris Kollár ) is a right-wing populist political party in Slovakia founded in 2015 by entrepreneur Boris Kollár . In the National Council election in March 2020 , SR achieved 8.2% and moved into the National Council with 17 members and took part in the Matovič government .

Political orientation

Various media classify SR as a protest party , and the Austrian daily Der Standard also describes it as “ populist ” and “ xenophobic ”.

Party leader Kollár was also described in the media as "moderate Kotleba ".
