Smita Nair Jain (born November 20, 1969 in Pune , India ) is an Indian screenwriter and businesswoman.

Life

Smita grew up in Pune and attended St. Joseph, Pune. She is a graduate of the University of Pune , where she completed her undergraduate degree and MBA in 1994 . After working with numerous global organizations such as Prudential , Accenture , Capita , Barclays , DHL , MphasiS and Sears , Smita Nair Jain held national and global leadership roles. She has worked with and led large teams in the UK, continental Europe, North America and Asia. She also received the LinkedIn Power Profile for 2015 and 2017. She is a member of the Indian Institute of Directors. In addition, she is a speaker at leading business schools in India and at global academic events. She is also a member of the Leaders Excellence in Harvard Square. Smita and her husband Rajiv Jain currently live in Mumbai , India .
