The Villa Frischauer in Ludwigsburg , a town in northern Baden-Württemberg , was built in 1923. The villa at Asperger Straße 34 is a protected cultural monument .

The villa in the neoclassical style was built for the Asperger factory owner Hans Frischauer (see also stumbling blocks for the Frischauer family ) according to plans by Otto Eichert . The two-storey stone building with reinforced concrete structure has an elevated staircase with an apsidal end. The midst are provided with lunette windows. On the south side there is a porch facing the garden and a loggia with pillars in the middle on the upper floor.

The building has been the headquarters of the Franco-German Institute since 1949 .

The villa has been the location of several films, most recently in 2018 for the short film Struwwelerror by the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy .
