Smith Ridge is a prominent mountain ridge on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . In the Mistichelli Hills it rises on the eastern edge of the Amery Ice Shelf .

The ridge served as a survey station in 1968 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Ronald S. Smith, who worked as a geophysicist at Mawson Station in 1968 and was involved in surveying the mountain ridge.
