The Smithson Glacier is a glacier in the Bowers Mountains in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows northward from the slopes of Mount Verhage along the west side of the Posey Range and flows into the Graveson Glacier at Mount Draeger .

It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey and aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy between 1960 and 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Scott B. Smithson, a geologist at McMurdo Station from 1967 to 1968.
