Snelle (born October 3, 1995 in Gorssel , Netherlands ; real name Lars Bos ) is a Dutch rapper .

life and career

Bos was born in 1995 in Gorssel in the province of Gelderland, the Netherlands. At a young age he suffered from a congenital cleft lip and palate , after which he suffered from bullying attacks in his childhood. He processed some of his experiences in the song Reünie . The rapper trained at the Herman Brood Academie , where artists such as Calvin Harris and Martin Garrix also learned. His first single Scars was released in January 2019 and rose to number four in the Dutch Single Top 100 . Just a few months later, the song was awarded a platinum record . With the song Reünie , Bos reached the top of the Dutch single charts for the first time in September 2019 . His third album Vierentwintig was also number one in November 2019. With the single Smoorverliefd , released in January 2020, the artist warns young people not to use cell phones while cycling. This song also rose to number one on the Dutch charts.
