Snettisham is a village on the North Sea coast of Norfolk in England , in the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk . In 2001 it had 2374 inhabitants. To the west is the RSPB Snettisham nature reserve owned by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds . The Ingol brook flows in the south.
In 1948, 1950 and 1989 a total of eleven hoards from the late Iron Age were found, the Snettisham hoards named after the village .
