course

The road branches off about 4 km south of Jindabyne from Barry Way to the southeast and crosses the Mowamba River . It passes through the settlement of Beloka and turns to the northeast. At Dalgety it crosses the Snowy River and then turns back to the southeast.

It continues its way through Maffra and Jincumbilly and finally reaches the Monaro Highway (R23) 5 km southeast of Jincumbilly.
