Sod sting
The sod-stitch is a former nature reserve in the district of Borgfeld the municipality of Bremen .
The nature reserve was 3.9 hectares . It had been under nature protection since July 23, 1939, making it the oldest nature reserve in Bremen. By ordinance of May 30, 2015, the nature reserve ordinance was repealed and the area was integrated into the " Borgfelder Wümmewiesen " nature reserve .
The former nature reserve is located northeast of Borgfeld and southeast of Lilienthal on the edge of the "Borgfelder Wümmewiesen" nature reserve, which it borders on two sides. The area is characterized by an alder - birch forest with small bodies of water.
