Sofia Tchernev

Sofia Tchernev ( Bulgarian София Чернева , according to the usual transcription : Tschernew , scientific transliteration : Sofija Černev ), née Kusewa (Кузева), (born June 16, 1967 in Smoljan ) is a Bulgarian actress living in Germany .

Life

Sofia Tchernev is the daughter of the engineer Margarita Kusewa and the actor Peter Kusew. She grew up in Haskovo , in 1985 she began studying performing arts at the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts "Krastjo Sarafow" , in the class of Ento Chalachev and Sneschina Tankowska . She got her first film role while studying. She played Dana in the popular Bulgarian film directed by Ivan Andonov , Yesterday .

After graduating in 1989, she got a permanent position in the ensemble of the “Sofia” theater.

Since 1993 she has been married to the actor Pantcho Tchernev. Their daughter Krista Tcherneva is an actress and model. In 1996 Sofia Tchernev received a scholarship for an international actor project “Let's get rid of the borders” from the Foreign Ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Sofia Tchernev works and lives with her family in Germany.
