The Jordan Field is a football stadium on the campus of Harvard University in Boston district Allston . It opened in September 2010 and can accommodate up to 4,000 spectators. Originally called the Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium ; In September 2015, it was renamed in honor of Harvard graduate and former American football player Jerry Jordan .
The stadium is the primary venue for the home games of the Harvard Crimson football and lacrosse teams . The Boston Breakers from the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) have also played their home games here since 2015 . They also use the stadium as a training facility.
In June 2013, the New England Revolution football team from Major League Soccer played their round of 16 match in the US Open Cup against the New York Red Bulls in the stadium, playing for the first time in the club's history within the city limits of Boston.
