Ovens, Daniel Lund Jørgensen, Katrine Klith Andersen and Søren Bregendel, Johannes Nymark, Martin Skriver, the three members of Lighthouse X. Lighthouse X was confirmed as a participant in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2016 after all artists and songs were leaked on Spotify on January 10, 2016 . In the final of the competition, the group moved into the superfinal alongside Simone and Anja Nissen and finally won with 42% of the caller's votes. In the second semifinals, Lighthouse X dropped out of the competition with the song.
