Clemens Wallishauser (born November 9, 1973 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian squash player .

Career

Clemens Wallishauser played on the PSA World Tour for the first time in 1997 . He achieved his best position in the world rankings with rank 77 in February 1999. Between 1997 and 1999 he was Austrian national champion three times in a row . In 2015 he won the state championship in doubles. With the Austrian national team he took part in the World Cup in 1995 , 1997 , 1999 and 2003 . In addition, he was part of the Austrian squad at European championships several times . He also represented Austria at the 1999 WSF World Cup alongside Pamela Pancis and Gerhard Schedlbauer .

Wallishauser was banned for life by the Austrian association in 2004 after repeatedly testing positive for marijuana . His state championship title, which he had recently won, was revoked and his final opponent Andreas Fuchs was awarded. Internationally, however, he was still eligible to play. In 2011, the ban was subsequently reduced to eight years and expired in March 2012.
