Solimán Ganno
Solimán Ganno y Florés (born September 19, 1931 in Bungui , Ilocos Norte , † May 19, 1989 in Manila ) was a Filipino bishop of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente .
Ganno was ordained a priest in Manila in 1954 and bishop on May 8, 1969 in the National Cathedral in Manila. In May 1987 Ganno succeeded Abdias de la Cruz as the seventh Obispo Maximo ( Metropolitan ) of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente and thus head of a church with over seven million church members.
