The Solirubrobacterales form within the class Rubrobacteria in the Division ( Divisio , on prokaryotes as phylum called) Actinobacteria an order .
features
The Solirubrobacterales are gram positive . The species are mesophilic . MK-7 is the dominant menaquinone . Spores are not formed. All types are aerobic .
Systematics
Currently (as of April 19, 2019) the order contains four families : The Conexibacteraceae , Parviterribacteraceae , Patulibacteraceae and Solirubrobacteraceae . The order was established on the basis of 16S rRNA and phenotypic features. Their representatives are most closely related to the genus Thermoleophilum . Only a few species have been described so far, but many finds of only slightly different 16S rRNA indicate that several closely related species still exist. So far, the families are monophyletic taxa , as they each have only one genus.
