The Solitary Peak (English for Lone Peak ) is a 2,810 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Elizabeth Range of the Transantarctic Mountains, it rises 7.2 km southeast of Mount Rabot .
Ohio State University geologists who studied it between 1967 and 1968 named it after its relatively isolated geographic location.
