The SOLLICH KG is a medium-sized engineering company in Bad Salzuflen developed the special machines for the chocolate and confectionery industry, produces and markets internationally. The company was founded in 1950 by Robert Sollich and is currently managed by grandson Thomas Sollich. The company employs around 460 people.

history
In 1920 Robert Sollich founded a bakery in Ratibor in Upper Silesia . Eight years later, Sollich moved to Rostock , where a company for confectionery machines was established. The target cook is invented (1st vacuum sugar machine). After the Second World War (1948), the first vacuum cooker was invented, the Super-Sollkoch . In 1950 Robert Sollich relocated to Bad Salzuflen, where he founded the company and began manufacturing chocolate machines. In 1957 the first chocolate coating machine with circulating temperature control is invented. In 1966, son Helmut Sollich took over the company and in the same year made it the largest manufacturer of chocolate coating systems. 1970 is Conbar developed -Riegelanlage. 10 years later, coating systems for caramel and sugar icings are developed. In 1985 the praline molding system Sollformat is developed. The Turbotemper is the most successful tempering two years later. Sollich became a global brand. In 1992 the Sollich Group takes over Chocotech GmbH from Wernigerode . In 1997 the grandson, Thomas Sollich, took over the management of the company. In addition to Chocotech GmbH , the Sollich Group includes the Chocotech Candy Division with plants in Wernigerode and Hanover and the main plant in Bad Salzuflen, as well as its own agencies with service staff in Great Britain , the USA and Sollich Asia in Singapore .
