1980 Summer Paralympics / table tennis

At the 1980 Summer Paralympics in Arnhem , medals were awarded in a total of 32 table tennis competitions. There were ten medals for women and 22 for men. For the first time, no more double competitions were held. The athletes fought for medals in individual and team competitions.

Classes

The women played individually in classes 1A, 1B, 2, 3, 4 and C, as well as in the team competition in classes 1B, 2, 3 and 4.

There were twelve individual classes for men: 1A, 1B, 1C, 2, 3, 4, C, C1, D, E, F and J. In the team competition, classes 1A, 1B, 1C, 2, 3, 4, C, D, E and F played for the medals.
