The Sommerrangen is a wooded hill east of Arzberg in Upper Franconia . The summit is 544 m above sea level. NHN on the northwestern edge of the Arzberger Forest in the southeastern Fichtelgebirge .

Waters

In a valley to the southwest of the hill there are some naturally fed fish ponds. They drain into the Röslau passing northwest .

In earlier years an important road ("Via que procedit de Egire") ran to Eger ( Cheb ) on the north side .
