Mount Ryan is a 3200  m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises between Mount Shear and Mount Gardner in the main ridge of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2006 after Barbara J. Ryan, assistant director of geography for the United States Geological Survey and representative of the US Department of the Interior on the United States Board on Geographic Names from 2001 to 2005.
