Publishing history

The publishing house was founded in 2000 as "Berliner Chormusik-Verlag" by Stefan Rauh in Berlin . Originally, he specialized in the editing of choral music. In 2009, the range was expanded to include the “Edition Musica Rinata” so that the spectrum of the published works now also included compositions for organ and other instruments. The programs of both publishers - now under one roof - have been further expanded. In 2013 the publishing house moved to Kleinmachnow in the Potsdam district .

In January 2015, both parts of the publishing house were combined under the name Sonat-Verlag. In 2018 the merger with the Berlin publisher Ries & Erler took place, where Stefan Rauh has been head of the editing department since then .
