Sonia Huguet , married . Raiwisque , (born September 13, 1975 in Saint-Avold ) is a former French cyclist .
Sonia Huguet's father was already a cyclist. The daughter competed in her first races at the age of 14. From 1994 to 2005 she was a professional cyclist. During this time she became French champion five times, in 1996 in the points trial and in the team time trial , in 2004 and 2005 again in the points trial. In 2003 she won the title of French road champion. In 2004 she became a two-time European Police Champion.
Her greatest success was in 2004 when she won the Flèche Wallonne and is the only French woman who so far (as of 2014) has won a World Cup race. Her popularity suffered from the fact that she was overshadowed by Jeannie Longo-Ciprelli throughout her career , behind whom she was second or third several times in French championships.
