Sonja A. Sackmann

Sonja Anita Sackmann (born April 11, 1955 in Schwarzenberg ) is a German organizational psychologist and professor at the University of the Bundeswehr in Munich . She researches and teaches in particular in the areas of leadership , corporate culture , organizational development and intercultural management .

Life

From 1974 to 1980 Sackmann studied psychology and sociology in Marburg , Heidelberg and at California State University, Northridge . She then did research in environmental psychology at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and completed a postgraduate course in management at the University of California, Los Angeles , which she received in 1985 with a Ph.D. graduated in management.

She then taught at the Graduate School of Management UCLA, St. Gallen, at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and in Shanghai. She was a partner and managing partner at the Management Center St. Gallen. From 1991 to 1992 she was a substitute professor at the University of Konstanz . Since 1993 she has been professor of work and organizational psychology in the Faculty of Economics and Organizational Sciences at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich .

Sonja Sackmann is a member of various expert commissions (including the BMBF ) and editorial boards and has worked as a reviewer and editor for various scientific journals.
