Sonja Stuchtey

Sonja Stuchtey (* 1972 in Cologne ) is a founder of the “ScienceLab” educational initiative and an author of children's books.

Life

Sonja Stuchtey is a businesswoman, management consultant and mother of six children. Inspired by questions from her children and the inadequate scientific offerings in kindergarten and elementary school, she founded the Science Lab educational initiative together with chemist Heike Schettler in 2002.

She is the author of several non-fiction books for children.

As part of the citizens' initiative " Pulse of Europe ", Stuchtey campaigned for a strong European civil society. In 2018 she founded the Alliance for Europe , which primarily wanted to motivate young voters to participate in the European elections.

She is married to the management consultant Martin Stuchtey , and they have been running the Kollreider Hof in Anras since 2011 .
