The Ebrach (also called Geiselwinder Ebrach ) is a good five kilometers long and right tributary of the rich Ebrach in Franconia . Together with the Haselbach, the length of the river is 7.91 km.
The Ebrach is shorter than all three other rivers with the name Ebrach in Franconia ( Reiche Ebrach , Mittlere Ebrach and Rauhe Ebrach ).

The Ebrach arises at a height of 360 m above sea level. NHN through the confluence of the two streams Sandgraben and Urlesgraben west of Geiselwind.
It then flows in an easterly direction past the Freizeitland Geiselwind and then also crosses the Schleifmühel and the village of Geiselwind. Then it continues to flow in an easterly direction, past the Weingartsmühle and Hammermühle, which are both north of the river.
About 2 km east of Geiselwind , on the hill of Hohnsberg, it flows out at an altitude of 319 m above sea level. NHN from the right into the realms of Ebrach .
Its approximately 5 km long run ends 41 meters below its source, so it has an average bed gradient of 8.2 ‰.
