Program and offer

Sonnenklar.TV originally emerged from the program Urlaubreif , which was broadcast on tm3 from January 2001 and was renamed Sonnenklar that same year . The own channel Sonnenklar.TV started in March 2003.

Sonnenklar.TV's live broadcast is around 80 hours per week. The program can be received on its own channel 24 hours a day via cable and satellite and is also offered as a live stream on the Internet on its own website. The offer ranges from package tours to round trips, city trips, event and musical trips, wellness and spa trips, cruises, self-drive trips, ski trips, rental car and camper offers, language trips to last-minute trips as well as scheduled and charter flights.

Since 2006, Sonnenklar.TV has had a so-called “multi-channel” strategy, in which trips are not only offered via TV, Internet and call centers, but also in Sonnenklar.TV travel agencies. These can be found at over 280 locations throughout Germany and are looked after by Touristik Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH (TVG), a subsidiary of FTI . The broadcaster also reaches its customers via hbbTV, iPhone and Android apps and live streaming apps such as Live.TV, Couchfunk and Zattoo. The program can also be accessed via Freenet.TV from Media Broadcast via DVB-T.

Range

The technical range of the station is around 39 million television households. Sonnenklar.TV reaches television households via satellite, via Astra 1 H, 19.2 ° East and via various cable network operators in all federal states. Since September 1, 2011, the station has started unencrypted HD broadcasting via Astra (Sat). In addition, sonnenklar.TV has also been available unencrypted via Vodafone (Kabel Deutschland) since December 2018. Additional program windows on private TV channels extend the range. The program is also available as a live stream on the Internet. There, interested parties can also access a database with tourist video films.
