Sunday children

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sunday children were in the 1970s and 1980s, the school choir of the lower and middle levels of the Freiherr-vom-Stein-Gymnasium in Rösrath led by Rudolf cup († 2002/2003). The Sunday children became known because of their recordings with Heino . The choir appeared on the ZDF hit parade , with Dalli Dalli and on the television program Sing mit Heino . A well-known member of the choir was Anke Engelke . A part of the choir forms the band Manuel and Pony with the solo singer Achim Rodewald . As an antithesis to the conservative choir, the “upper level choir” was created under the direction of Hans Hinterkeuser, who mainly sang workers' songs in a four-part version by the choir director.
