Sons of Aeon is a Finnish melodic death metal band from Jyväskylä , which was founded in 2010.
history
The band was founded in 2010 by Swallow-the-Sun drummer Pasi Pasanen, the Ghost Brigade guitarists Wille Naukkarinen and Tommi Kiviniemi, who played bass with Sons of Aeon. Code for Silence member Tony Kaikkonen joined the band as singer and Tapio Vartiainen as a further guitarist. In 2013 the band released their self-titled debut album on Lifeforce Records .
style
The music is described as "a modern kind of Melodic Death Metal", with some influences from Stoner and Doom Metal being processed.
