Mount Soond is a mountain on the Hobbs Coast of Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . In the Perry Range, it rises 1.5 km north of the Bleclic Peaks .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1974 after the geomagnetic and seismologist who worked on the plateau station in 1968 .
