Sophie Francine Hilbrand (born October 5, 1975 in Alkmaar , North Holland ) is a Dutch actress and television presenter .
life and career
Sophie Hilbrand was born in 1975 in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, as the daughter of a businessman and a secretary, and has another sister. She spent the first eight years of her childhood in Bergen , then in Nuenen . She attended a fashion academy in Eindhoven for a year. After moving to Amsterdam , she completed a three-year training in marketing . She has appeared in commercials and short films. Sophie Hilbrand is known in the Netherlands as a radio and television presenter of talk shows such as Spuiten en Slikken . In German-speaking countries she became known through the female lead of the student Kathleen in the erotic thriller Seductive Game (original title: Zomerhitte) from 2008 based on a novel by Jan Wolkers , set on the Dutch island of Texel .
Sophie Hilbrand has been in a relationship with the Dutch actor Waldemar Torenstra since autumn 2006 , who is also her film partner in Seductive Game in 2008 . They are parents of a daughter and a son.
