Sophie Lux

Sophie Lux is an Austrian video designer and set designer .

life and work

Lux studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna in the stage and film design class with Bernhard Kleber . Her artistic work can be found at the interface of film, video and theater. She was engaged at the Staatstheater Kassel and the Theater Augsburg as well as in the Bergmann Directorate (2014-2019) in several productions at the Burgtheater in Vienna, including Die Bakchen . In Kassel she will be involved in the world premiere of Aktion Beuys , on the occasion of Beuys' 99th birthday in May 2020. Two works at the Theater in der Josefstadt : 2018 stage design and video design for Dürrenmatt's visit to the old lady and 2019 stage design for Nestroy's Joke Willing he do , both staged by Stephan Müller .
