Sorbian Artists Association
The Sorbian Artists' Union ( Upper Sorbian , Lower Sorbian Zwězk serbskich wuměłcow ) was founded in 1990.
It unites over 100 Sorbian actors , dancers , musicians , composers , painters , writers and singers under the umbrella organization Domowina . The executive committee of the federal government endeavors to spread Sorbian art in Lusatia and to make it better known in other European countries (especially Eastern Europe ). Particular attention is paid to Sorbian literature . That is why the federal government also supports young authors who use the Sorbian language .
International festivals of Sorbian poetry have taken place every year since 1979 as a result of the collaboration between the bilingual Lusatia and Eastern European countries.
