Soulsonic Force

Soulsonic Force was a hip hop band. She worked very successfully with Afrika Bambaataa . The main members were GLOBE, Pow Wow, Mr. Biggs and DJ Jazzy Jay.

Soulsonic Force appeared in the film Beat Street , in the film Hip Hop - A Street History and summarized in the Bambaataa video Electric Dance Hop . They can be seen in the videos for Planet Rock , Renegades of Funk, and Looking for the Perfect Beat . They also appeared on later LPs such as Lost Generation from the 1990s. In addition to the records with Afrika Bambaataa, they also published their own releases on the Tommy Boy label. It is also interesting that the band not only worked with Afrika Bambaataa on the production of the album Planet Rock , but also with the DJ and producer Paul Oakenfold , who is more likely to be assigned to the trance genre.

In the early days of the 1980s , she appeared in futuristic stage outfits that are reminiscent of the early days of funk bands such as Parliament or Funkadelic , Bambaataa's role models. She had great international success and also toured Europe.
