The Sourou is an approximately 120 km long river in West Africa and a tributary of the Black Volta .
course
The river has its source on the border between Mali and Burkina Faso and initially flows as a border river to the west. It then turns south in Mali and flows into the Black Volta (Mouhoun) from the left in northwest Burkina Faso about 30 km north of Dédougou .
