Soutelo is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Soutelo is part of the Vieira do Minho county in the Braga district . The community had an area of 6.2 km² and 173 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Soutelo and Anissó were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Anissó e Soutelo .
