The South Doodle is a 877  m high and prominent mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the North Masson Range of the Framnes Mountains, it rises 1.5 km south of Rumdoodle Peak and 20 km south of Mawson Station .

The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 2006 based on the name of the Rumdoodle Peak. This is named after the novel The Ascent of the Rum Doodle by the British writer William Ernest Bowman from 1956, which is one of the most widely read works on Mawson Station.
