The South Eldon River is a river in the western part of the Australian state of Tasmania .

geography

The river rises on the southwest slopes of the High Dome in the center of Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park and flows west along the southern edge of the Eldon Range . At the southwest corner of the national park, at the northern tip of Lake Burbury , it forms the King River together with the Eldon River .
