The South Stork is a mountain peak in the southeast of the Adelaide Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises to the southwest of Stork Ridge near Rothera Station .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1957 during the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2004.
