The SpVgg Rehweiler-Matzenbach is a sports club from the municipalities of Rehweiler and Matzenbach in the Kusel district . The club's flagship is the first women's team.
history
The association was founded in 1960. The first team in the women's division played from 1998 to 2008 in the Regionalliga Südwest . She was able to qualify for the women's DFB Cup three times. In 1997 she had received a bye for the first round. In the second round she was defeated by 1. FC Saarbrücken 0:14. In 2000 she failed in the first round at 1. FFC Frankfurt ; the game was lost 4-0. In 2007 the last appearance in the DFB-Pokal took place. This time the team lost 4-0 to SV Dirmingen in the first round .
