Spencer Thomas (born August 26, 1997 ) is a British middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter run .

Athletic career

Spencer Thomas gained his first international experience in 2015 when he reached the semi-finals at the Junior European Championships in Eskilstuna and was eliminated there with 1: 51.64 minutes. The following year he failed at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with 1: 52.54 min in the first round and in 2019 he won the silver medal behind Poland's Mateusz Borkowski at the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 1: 49.06 min .

In 2019 Thomas became the British champion in the 800-meter run.
