The British Athletics Championships in 2019 ( English British Athletics Championships in 2019 ) were on 24 and 25 August at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham discharged.

The championships also served as a qualifying competition ( trials ) for the British team at the 2019 World Championships in Doha . The two best-placed athletes with the IAAF standard fulfilled in the specified qualification period (October 1, 2018– September 1, 2019) are automatically nominated ; remaining starting positions can be filled at the discretion of the national British Athletics Association . Regardless, the defending champion of getting World Championships in 2017 and the winner of the Diamond League in 2019 by the World Association of Athletics Federations IAAF an automatic right to start. For most of the disciplines not carried out within the framework of the championships (10,000 m, marathon, 20 and 50 km walking), competitions other than trials have been set; the association decides on the nominations in the all-round competitions .
