Nicholas Percy (born December 5, 1994 in Glasgow ) is a British athlete who specializes in discus throwing.

Athletic career

Nicholas Percy gained his first international experience at the 2011 Youth World Championships near Lille , where he finished seventh with a width of 58.95 m. He then won the silver medal in the discus throw at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Douglas with 62.96 m and the bronze medal in the hammer throw with 64.96 m. The following year he took part in the Junior World Championships in Barcelona , where he reached eighth place with 57.79 m, and in 2013 he won the silver medal at the European Junior Championships in Rieti with 62.04 m. The following year he first took part in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow , but retired there with 56.71 m in qualification. In 2017 he finally took part in the World Championships in London , but did not reach the final there with 56.93 m . Two years later he took seventh place at the Summer Universiade in Naples with 60.92 m.

In 2016, 2017 and 2019 Percy became the British discus thrower. He is a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and became an NCAA college master in 2016.
