Tom Gale (born December 18, 1998 in Bath ) is a British athlete who specializes in the high jump .
Athletic career
Tom Gale gained his first international experience in 2016 when he finished ninth in the final of the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with a skipped 2.18 m. The following year he won the bronze medal at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto with a height of 2.28 m and in 2018 he was eliminated from the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for England starting with 2.18 m in the qualification. In 2019 he took part in the U23 European Championships in Gävle , where he won the silver medal behind the Belarusian Maksim Nedassekau with a jump over 2.27 m .
In 2020, Gale became the British high jump indoor champion.
