Daniel "Dan" Bramble (born October 14, 1990 in Chesterfield ) is a British long jumper .

Athletic career

Dan Bramble gained his first international experience at the 2015 European Team Championships in Cheboksary , where he finished eighth in the long jump and eleventh in the triple jump. In the long jump he qualified for the World Championships in Beijing , where he was eliminated with 7.83 m in qualification . In 2016 he took part in the World Indoor Championships in Portland , where he finished sixth with 8.14 m. In 2017 he dropped out of the qualification at the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade with 7.64 m and won the gold medal at the European Team Championships in Lille with 8.00 m. In 2018 he took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time and finished fifth there with 7.94 m. At the beginning of August he took part in the European Championships in Berlin , where he finished seventh with 7.90 m in the final .

In 2017, Bramble was British champion in the long jump outdoors and between 2015 and 2017 in the hall.
