Divine Oladipo (born October 5, 1998 ) is a British athlete who specializes in the shot put and discus throw .

Athletic career

Divine Oladipo gained first international experience in 2015 when she finished ninth in the shot put at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Apia with a width of 12.71 m, while she came fourth in the discus competition with 42.44 m. Two years later she took part in the U20 European Championships in Grosseto , Italy , where she started both in the shot put and in the discus throw . While she failed in the qualification in the discus throw with 46.11 m, she qualified for the shot put final and missed a medal there with a width of 16.03 meters in fourth. A year later, she started for the first time at the British Athletics Championships, where she took fourth place in the shot put with a width of 16.16 meters. She took seventh place in the discus throw. In the shot put, the British qualified for the European Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2018 . In the qualification she only reached a width of 15.78 meters and could not qualify for the final. In 2019 she was fourth in the shot put at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 16.79 m.
